Senseless met Reilly during a label showcase in San Francisco and as soon as they heard the demos they knew that a release had to happen. With releases on Top Billin and Hot N Heavy and remixes for Trouble and Bass and more already under his belt it's fair to say the future is bright for Reilly and this EP proves it. Four original tracks balance electro, techno, deep house and garage influences. There's spare, minimal production that builds to crescendos of intensity in tracks like 'ICU' and 'The Healing'. Then 'Taking Me' equally references Detroit techno and old school hardcore whilst sounding totally contemporary and 'Inside' drops things way down deeper.
Remixes come from Senseless family Mak & Pasteman who turn in not one but two remixes, one on a broken UK bass tip and one on a deeper house flex. Two of the best up and coming producers from SF complete the remix package with Cosmic Revenge cranking ICU up a gear and Jaws Da Jormungand dropping an amazing El-B referencing cut.
Special mention to the video by Berlin based visual artist, Andreas Fischer. Without doubt one of the very best videos of the year.
